Andrew Burkle

Greetings and welcome to my site. I am a photo stylist in Cleveland, Ohio where I work as a food, prop, and set stylist.

My aesthetic has grown out of my studies as a sculptor and fiber artist in college, during which I worked in a variety of restaurant kitchens. I married a wonderful still-life photographer, Len Mastri and we worked together for many years and raised a son together. I also was in the Test Kitchen at Eating Well Magazine and a chef at Chapter’s Bookstore and Café before heading out as a freelancer. 

After moving back to Cleveland in 1999, I have been a contributor to Edible Cleveland, crafting two columns for them, have volunteered at the Greyhound Adoption of Ohio, the Cleveland Food Bank, and at Heights Arts, a multi-disciplinary arts organization based in Cleveland Heights. I am also a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, an international philanthropic organization of female culinary professionals.

Cleveland has proved to be an exciting city in which to be based. It is filled with talented folks and wonderful clients. As I look towards a new phase, I am excited to be splitting my time between work in Cleveland and culinary adventures in Paris.
